Scientific Validations
Dr D. Durrer
FMH General Internal Medicine graduate, specialist in the treatment of obesity, author of 3 books on the subject, member of the Nutrition, Physical Activity and Health Platform of the European Commission (Brussels). She headed several Master’s studies using Slim Sonic (diffuse ultrasound).
Master studies about our technology (2011 - 2012 - 2015 - 2016)
Interview seen in l'Illustré in September 2016 (translated from French):
Question: You have conducted studies with Sonic Resonance, what do you think of the results?
Dr. D. Durrer : Indeed, we performed several Master studies with the Sonic Resonance technology between 2012 and 2016. Patients in these studies were mainly people who were overweight and rather sedentary. The proposed program with Sonic Resonance is a comprehensive program involving increased physical activity with diffuse ultrasound and a balanced diet. It is often very difficult to lose fat located in the subcutaneous tissue and the Sonic Resonance technology effectively reduces fat in the treated area. Combined with physical activities we were also able to reduce intra-abdominal fat.
Question: What are the results of these studies?
Dr. D. Durrer: This work has demonstrated the effectiveness of the treatment protocol combining increased physical activities with the Sonic Resonance technology. On average, the results of 6 sessions of 40 minutes generated a reduction of 3 to 5 cm of waistline and about 1,9 to 2,3 cm skin fold of the treated area.
In addition, 50% of the patients of the study continued regular physical activity in combination with the Sonic Resonance technology. Let's also remember that regular physical activity significantly reduces cardio-metabolic risk factors.
